ROLE OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a high-performing Business Development Representative (BDR) with proven success in outbound prospecting, specifically within the MSP or IT services space.

In this role, you will be cold calling and prospecting on behalf of multiple MSPs, booking qualified first-time meetings and advancing leads through the early stages of the sales cycle. This role requires someone who can learn quickly, adapt messaging fast, and confidently speak MSP language (services, pain points, jargon, value propositions).

This is a role for a driven, motivated salesperson who excels at outbound prospecting, communicates clearly, writes effectively, and is comfortable spending the majority of their day on the phone.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3–5 years of B2B business development or outbound sales experience

  • Strong familiarity with MSP/IT services, including terminology, services, and pain points

  • Proven track record of consistently achieving outbound KPIs 

  • Exceptional verbal communication; confident and natural on the phone

  • Strong written communication for crafting emails, short pitches, and LinkedIn messages

  • Highly comfortable cold calling 4+ hours per day

  • Fast learner who adapts messaging quickly across different MSPs

  • Experience using CRMs, sequencing tools, email automation, and outbound tech stacks

  • Strong organization and time management skills

  • Motivated, disciplined, and target-driven

Nice to Have:

  • Experience selling directly to MSPs

  • Experience in a marketing agency or outbound lead generation firm

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct outbound prospecting (calls, emails, LinkedIn) on behalf of multiple MSPs

  • Follow up with warm and cold leads to generate interest and qualify prospects

  • Write persuasive outreach messages and short email sequences

  • Understand MSP services and differentiate value propositions

  • Advance leads and book qualified meetings for Account Executives

  • Research and build targeted contact lists within the MSP/IT space

  • Track activities and report weekly/monthly on outreach KPIs and meeting targets

  • Stay informed on MSP trends, IT service terminology, and common industry challenges
